Farewell Mishy by Tina and Wayne Gallasch

Farewell Mishy

9 November 2013 - 2 June 2017.

Mishy was our much loved GMV team member and our first ever GMV family dog.

Today we lost a very special little person in our lives. We had to let Mishy go this morning - she was struggling badly overnight and it was time. Goodbye to our beautiful little girl, just three and half years old. A brave fighter right to the end.  You were very special and touched the hearts of so many people. You have left us with such wonderful happy memories. Love you.

Mishy thought transferred these words to Tina a few days ago.  It is one of the hardest things ever.
"By the time you read this, I will have crossed the Rainbow Bridge. I went to sleep in HER arms, with HIM holding my paw and stroking my back. This was the best place to be. I am free of pain and hurt, and I am so happy.
I am happy because I know that I will meet up with THEM one day – because we love each other so much. But in the meantime I have new friends in the Rainbow Meadow.  When you feel sad, please think of us racing across a beautiful meadow and playing together.  I shouldn’t be surprised if we have a DOGMEET of our very own one day. Anyone can attend.
I‘d like to thank all my dear Aunties and Uncles who have looked after me and been so nice to me over the past three years.
And HIM and HER – especially HIM and HER. I even had the chance to say goodbye to Raj and Ernie this morning.  It was a special time.
I hope I made you smile a little bit, and I hope I made your days brighter.
All my Love, Mishy."

Tina and I feel a huge pang of sadness. Mishy brought a massive amount of pleasure and joy into our daily lives during her three and a half short years with us.
