Extra information for GMV search engine use.
PLEASE NOTE: If you click on the menu drop down button at the right side of the FIND box, it gives you three options for searching:
All the words
Any of the words
The exact phrase or exact title
In order to find the name of a particular bodybuilder, the site needs to have the name of that bodybuilder in the description of the video or DVD on our product page in order for the search function to find it.
My favourite and the best way is to search simply by surname. Just type in CUTLER and see all the references that come up, then click on the one you want.
For example, you can search for Dorian Yates by putting in either Dorian or Yates and it will find all the tapes and DVDs where we have his first or last name listed. If he is not listed on the site in a particular DVD then the site will not list that DVD for Dorian.
Or you can search "2005 NABBA" for example and it will find all the 2005 NABBA contests for the Worlds or Universe or Australia etc. And same for "2005 IFBB".
The Search function can not read words in our graphics such as on DVD covers or in frames of contest results. That is why we list everything clearly as to results on product pages.
If searching by GMV Code eg. GMV-123DVD, or A-123DVD, or V-123DVD make sure there is no space between any of the characters or numbers. If you leave off the DVD on the end - an important part of the code number, the site search will not find the exact item you want and will think it does not exist.
WHAT DO ALL THE CODE NUMBERS MEAN? The "GMV" code means the video/DVD was video taped, edited and produced by GMV Productions. Except for the Classic Collections, where most of the material was shot on film then transferred to video masters by GMV. The numbers are chronological, i.e., low numbers are earlier and higher numbers are the latest release.
The "V" series 99 – 157 were mostly shot by GMV on film and transferred to broadcast quality DVD masters. The other "V’ numbers are co-produced by GMV and our associated producers overseas.
The "A" series are videos/DVDS that were NOT produced by GMV Productions, such as Olympia contest, documentaries and work out tapes which GMV has bought or licensed the master tapes from other producers to sell.
Whatever the code you will always find that GMV Productions always has the lowest prices where possible.
