I will be on the road in USA shooting the IronMan Pro Invitational and the San Francisco Grand Prix when this goes up on the site. We won’t be at the Arnold this year as FOX SPORTS have exclusive rights including all footage behind the scenes, prejudging etc – the lot. DVD’s are being considered and I have asked for rights to sell them to my mail order customers, so stay tuned to see if videos or DVD eventuate. On the positive side, we will be taping Jay Cutler in both pro events we are covering. This should please his many fans who missed his presence in the 2002 Mr. Olympia. ANSWER: My old friend Lou Ferrigno contacted me recently to see if I had film (video) of him competing in the 1973 IFBB Mr. Universe held in Geneva, Switzerland. In deed I do as this film now forms the major part of video V-156. Lou won this event beating such stars as Mike Katz, Ken Waller and Al Beckles. I feel this was possible the best Lou ever looked in competition, as he took the overall title. The video consists of 33 minutes of Prejudging followed by 60 minutes of the evening show, pose down and awards. The last 10 minutes of the video consists of highlights from the 1975 IFBB Mr. Europe contest held in Amsterdam, Holland. Peter Stach from the former Czechoslovakia was the standout physique in this event. Total running time of the video is 103 minutes. The 1973 Universe results are now in our results section but I don’t have complete results for the 1975 IFBB European Championships. Please let me know if anyone knows them.
