GMV-392 - GÜNTER SCHLIERKAMP'S "ROCK HARD" For more information or to purchase the video, click here. "ROCK HARD": Rocks - Günter Schlierkamp's new video is solid. Günter Schlierkamp's "Rock Hard" video shows the popular champion's hard and soft sides. I've heard for some time that Günter is one of the nicest and friendliest bodybuilders around. Judging by that and what I've seen in this video and witnessed at bodybuilding events, that statement is as solid as a rock. He seems like a genuinely down-to-earth nice guy. Schlierkamp's video depicts many aspects of his life. From his childhood home he gives a brief history of growing up in a small German town that now looks more like a major housing development. After that short segment he gets down to business. You see him training just about every body part and also posing in various locations as he's being interviewed. Most of the video is just that, an interview accompanied by plenty of amazing visual footage. Günter explains many of his training techniques, how he got comfortable posing in front of crowds - he used to be quite shy - and many of the things that he's learned over the years. The only negative - and it's a small one - is that during some of the footage Günter doesn't have a microphone on him, so some of what he says is hard to hear over the weights clanging and other various background noises. With the contest, training and posing footage and the insightful interview, "Rock Hard" is a good video for anyone looking to learn more about this rock-hard, gentle giant.
