1983 IFBB Swedish Grand Prix

Held in Malmo, Sweden, one of the greatest field of pros assembled in Sweden, Scandinavia to fight it out for supremacy in this northern part of Europe. It attracted the best professionals around from USA and Europe from the early 80s. What an upset when Mohamed Makkawy toppled the great Lee Haney for one of his rare defeats. Many said that Makkawy never looked better. In 3rd place and in the best shape of his life was the famous German, Jusup Wilcosz.

Jusup Wilkosz was also one of the greatest professionals of his era and this high placing was some achievement finishing one spot behind Lee Haney who ended up winning 8 Mr. Olympia titles by the end of his career.
Bertil Fox had to settle for 4th place, just one ahead of the Mighty Marvel namely Al Beckles. Tony Pearson rounded out the top 6.

This DVD presents the complete evening show including the 4 star guest posers, SAMIR BANNOUT, RUSS TESTO, CARLA DUNLAP and INGER ZETTERQUIST.

Both Dave Johns and Greg DeFerro had reasonably short careers, making this rare footage of them extremely valuable to the history of the sport.
