In this re-visit of the 2000 Mr. Olympia Expo, catch all the excitement of the MEN we taped at the various booths, along  with extra posing for the DVD shot at the Mandalay Bay's exotic Shark Reef location. Each day GMV's cameras journeyed up and down every Expo aisle, seeking out interesting and famous people in the sport, asking them to hit poses for us, or do brief interviews, or both. We had great success! Also includes highlights of the Fitness Men's Model Quest, Big Sean Allan and Rico Elbaz posing at Shark Reef. Our most amazing discovery was child strength star and physique sensation, RICHARD SANDRAK. Richard's unique story has been featured on mainstream TV a number of times. This schedule is subject to change without notice. It covers all IFBB Pro events for men and women, scheduled at this stage for 2011. It looks like a stellar year. You can see here the 2011 IFBB PRO CALENDAR OF EVENTS. Press Release: New Physique Divisions. There will be 2 new divisions in NPC/IFBB in 2011 called Women’s Physique and Men's Physique. The Women’s Physique Division will be more muscular than Figure without the size and extreme conditioning in Women's Bodybuilding. It will be a much more classic look. At the end of the second round, JAY CUTLER (still a future Mr. Olympia) was 6 points in front of Ronnie Coleman - but at the evening show, Ronnie posed his heart out to win the final two rounds. Celebrated as the 60th NABBA Universe: 1950-2010, and held in Southport, England on October 30th, this premier event was staged before a sell-out crowd. 2010 INBA South Australian Natural Physique & Figure Titles now released!! 2010 INBA South Australian Natural Physique & Figure Titles. The 2010 contest was held at a sold out Norwood Concert Hall on Sunday September 26.  As with previous years this popular contest had a large number of top quality competitors and all classes very well represented. The Overall Champions were Janelle McLean (make that two in a row), and rising young star Ben Wortley who won the OVERALL as a Junior competitor! This is a very rare feat. 2010 INBA South Australian Bodybuilding Championships Results Posted!! 2010 INBA South Australian Bodybuilding Championships Results. Our congratulations to the 2 Overall Winners in Ben Wortley and Janelle McLean. The young guy Ben who won the Overall title created history in that he was the first ever Junior to win the Overall trophy being the Junior Class winner. Our congratulations to Ben on an outstanding achievement. Congratulations also to Janelle as she retains her title and adds more trophies to her expanding collection. New Pro GP for Germany in 2011 and a new DVD review for Ernie Santiago!! New Pro GP announced for Germany in 2011!! Ed & Betty Pariso have partnered with FIBO Germany to present the 2011 FIBO POWER IFBB PRO CHAMPIONSHIPS. It will be staged at FIBO on April 16th, 2011 in Essen, Germany. FIBO is the longest running Bodybuilding and Fitness Expo in the world. It started in Cologne, Germany in 1986. That is the year of our earliest FIBO video now on DVD, so we assume this was the first year of FIBO. If this is correct, the 2011 version of FIBO will be its 25th anniversary. GMV had the privilege of either shooting or editing, or both, for many of the FIBO events prior to 2005. Maybe we will be back there again in 2011. Jay Cutler wins his 4th Olympia title!! News just in - Jay Cutler has won his 4th Olympia followed by Phil Heath, Branch Warren and Dexter Jackson.  The top 6 was rounded out by Dennis Wolf in 5th place, and Ronny Rockel in 6th. Kevin English was first in the very popular 202 class, followed by 2: David Henry, 3: Eduardo Correa, 4; Jose Raymond, 5: Jason Arntz and 6: Jaroslav Horvath. Iris Kyle won the Ms. Olympia, with Yaxeni Oriquen-Garcia 2nd; Adela Garcia was 1st in the Fitness Olympia with Tanji Johnson 2nd and a very improved Trish Warren 3rd.  The Figure Olympia was won by statuesque Erin Stern with Nicole Wilkins-Lee second.  The inaugural Bikini Olympia was won by Sonia Gonzales.

With all of the controversy of Monica Brant leaving the International Federation of Bodybuilders and Fitness (IFBB) for the World Bodybuilding & Fitness Federation (WBFF), she has made big waves yet again.  Brant stepped out on stage with other pro athletes who have been in the WBFF organization for some time, including Emily Stirling, two time WBFF World Champion. In her pro debut at the 2010 WBFF World Championships former 1998 IFBB Fitness Olympia winner took the show by storm when she  placed first and debunked Stirling. This championship victory was a sweet one for Monica who has not placed above second since the 2006 IFBB Arnold Classic Figure International. This is a very fine documentary by Mike Pulcinella, the creator of the Raising the Bar Series and the Kai Greene DVD. There are not too many documentaries on the top females in the sport and this is one that should not be missed. This superb DVD is a powerful retrospective of an amazing career and a moving portrait of a turbulent life that explains the origins of Vicki's love of bodybuilding and reveals the reasons why she can no longer compete in the sport she has made her life for twenty-three years. Lee Haney and the 1987 German Grand Prix & 1991 Ms. Olympia Revisited!! 1987 IFBB German Grand Prix (Autumn). Held in Germany, an incredibly brilliant group of 20 top IFBB professionals gathered in the Essen at the Gruga-Halle, right next to the famous FIBO Expo Convention Centre. The date was November 1st, 1987 – on the day after the Mr. Olympia held in Sweden. It was almost a re-run of the Olympia contest! These were the best pros from USA and Europe from the mid to late 80s. What a lineup and what a battle for supremacy between the top 3 in Haney, Gaspari and Labrada. It was so close with Lee Haney - thanks to the help of his superb "V" shape and overall perfection - just toppling the massive and totally shredded physique of Rich Gaspari. Lee Labrada - "Mr. Symmetry" was also flawless in finishing a very close 3rd. This is rare closeup contest footage of these top champions in their all-time best condition. Mandy Tanny, daughter of the late Armand Tanny, died last Saturday morning at a Southern California hospital after losing her five-year battle with breast cancer. She was 60. Mandy was an important pioneer in the women’s fitness movement, managing several Holiday Health Spas while promoting women’s bodybuilding and lecturing on exercise and nutrition. Mandy was also a writer for Muscle & Fitness for nearly 10 years before penning two health food cook books. She is survived by her husband George and son Mario. Our condolences to the Tanny family and friends.
