2001 Ms. Olympia & 2001 Fitness Olympia!!

I got into the deepest of deep trouble for not getting these videos onto the site before Christmas.  So my apologies - we have them in stock now, and I will be putting pictures in the Gallery most likely next week.  For details of A-1053 2001 Ms. Olympia, click here, and for details of A-1053 2001 Fitness Olympia, click here.  We shot some amazing footage of Juliette Bergmann the day after the competition - that will give you something to look forward to!  She was in awesome shape.

For those of you in the Northern Hemisphere, it's summer holidays down under and many businesses close down for the Christmas/New Year period.  GMV Productions, however, only closes for the public holidays, and we are desperately trying to catch up with a backlog of orders.  I have to tell you that it was our coldest Christmas in 19 years - it even rained a bit.

I've explained on a few occasions that we haven't got all of our inventory on the site yet.  However, I have just published GMV-243 1996 IFBB English Grand Prix in response to a request from a customer.  For details on this classic contest, featuring the great Dorian Yates, click here.

All Universe videos are ready!

I do worry myself sometimes.  I could have sworn that I'd already published the 2 women's Universe tapes - but I hadn't.  They are all up now, and you can check them out as follows:  GMV-448 Women's Prejudging, GMV-449 Women's Show; GMV-450  Men's Prejudging, and GMV-451 Men's Show.  We have special offers for both women's tapes and both men's tapes.  I shan't have time to attend to the Gallery pix for a day or so, but we've got some fantastic stuff, so it will give you something to look forward to!!

The long awaited Women's Muscle Power # 11 is ready!!

Yes, that's right, GMV-438 Women's Muscle Power # 11 - Big Guns is available.  It features 4 of your absolutely all-time favourite women: Christine Envall; Lesa Lewis, Valentina Chepiga and Lisa Bavington.  

I've also published to results of the EFBB British Championships and the EFBB Amateur Grand Prix; and tomorrow the WFF results will be up there together with the two Men's Universe videos.

I'm extremely happy to be able to tell you that we have the Mr. Olympia in stock and ready to roll.  The Producers (Magna Media) have excelled themselves.  I'm so excited!  It's a fantastic video that really captures the essence of the event.  I was there, don't forget, and it has brought back the best of memories for me.  And of course it was the most exciting competition they've had for years.  Ronnie was pushed to the limit, and almost didn't make it.  Jay Cutler is in absolutely the most fantastic shape!  You just gotta see it this year!  Just click here (A-1051) for details.

Winner of the Free Video Draw!

Many thanks to all the people who entered our draw for 3 free videos at the recent Mr. Olympia Expo.  The lucky winner was GUY SMITH of Los Angeles.  

2001 NABBA AUSTRALIAN UNIVERSE QUALIFIER & 
WFF CHAMPIONSHIPS 
(PREVIOUSLY KNOWN AS THE NABBA AUSTRALASIA!!!)

Only 2 videos from this prestigious event this year - the numbers were down a bit because it was held shortly after September 11th and the fear of flying spread even as far as this tiny corner of the globe.  Intrepid GMV staff were still there though - in Sydney this time.  The two videos are the Women's Prejudging & Show - GMV-436, and The Men's Prejudging & Show, GMV-435.  Two South Australians won the overall titles - Stella Dinan for the Women's Figure, and Kym Johncock for the men.  Pix from both contests are in the Gallery section.

Hard News - the Olympia Report!

Check out Wayne's Hard News for the second and final part of his in-depth Olympia Report.  You'll find all the results in the Contest Results section.  In fact you will now find results for the NABBA Universe and the Grand Prix in England and New Zealand as well.  And talking of Grand Prix, I was in contact with Tony Doherty this afternoon, and he has confirmed that the date of the 2002 Australian Grand Prix will be on 16 March in Melbourne, and it will be bigger and better than ever!!

I've also had some excellent news from the producer of the Olympia video series.  It seams that the editing of the Mr. Olympia tape has been finished on schedule, and it will be released very soon.  Watch this space!!  In the meantime if you want us to reserve a copy of this very controversial tape, let me know.  Everyone says it's the best Olympia for years, and I'd have to agree with that.

I'll be SO GLAD to see Wayne back from his extended trip to Europe.  He is in Germany this coming weekend taping the WFF World Championships.  The latest news from organiser Klaus Hoffmann is that there will be somewhere in the region of 250 competitors!!  Glad I don't have to tape it.  My poor husband is going to be history, and the words "taping marathon" will have taken on a whole new meaning.

Big Big News! Press Conference Release

I rushed back footage of the 2001 Olympia Press Conference so that we could get an early release - and it's ready already!!  This Press Conference left people gasping - it's controversial, provocative, and the very best ever.  See Shawn Ray versus one of the judges, Ronnie Coleman putting his oar in, Kevin Levrone having his say, and the ruckus between Craig Titus and King Kamali.  It's great viewing.  I haven't done a cover yet, because the photos are still coming to me via FedEx.  But if you want to buy it, I promise I will send you a cover as soon as it is ready at no extra charge.  GMV-439  75 minutes 

I'm back - but Wayne's still travelling!

Wayne has written the first of his reports on the Olympia for  Hard News.  By all accounts it was one of the best Olympias from recent years - and from my point of view (this was my first Olympia) it was fantastic!  I thoroughly enjoyed myself - I met heaps of you at the Expo which was a buzz, and the competitions were great and controversial - especially the Mr. O.

The videos from the 2001 Australian Championships were edited while we were away, and they are ready now, but I haven't done the covers yet.  For your reference, the video numbers are GMV-435 (The Men's Prejudging & Show) and GMV-436 (The Women's Prejudging and Show).  As soon as I've done the covers I'll post them to the site properly.  The videos sell for $39.00 each.

Wayne is still in Europe and is heading off to the WFF World Championships in Dresden Germany.  That will be another marathon shooting for him, as the organizer is expecting at least 200 contestants.

Travels!

2 new reviews

There's 2 new Reviews for you this week.  One is from our old friend Mike Emery, and he reviews our classic V-115 Sergio Oliva & Frank Zane.  And the second review is from our other old friend Brett DeHaan who looks at GMV-416 2001 Ms. International: Pump Room & Posing.

It's getting closer to D-day for Wayne & me (as in departure day).  We leave for Europe and the USA on 27th September for a massive shooting programme, which will include the NABBA Universe, the EFBB British Championships, the IFBB Mr. Olympia and much much more.

Pix for the 50 Years of the NABBA Universe video!

You will find a series of 15 pix in the Gallery to illustrate our new historical documentary video "The 50 Years of the NABBA Universe" (GMV-306).  Over a period of time, we will set up a pictorial record of all the winners we can find for the NABBA Universe, since its inception in 1948.  There was no contest in 1949, and then it became continuous from 1950 onwards.  The Professional NABBA Universe title came into being in 1952, and the Masters' Universe was started in 1991.  Women started to compete in 1966 (known until 1990 as Miss Bikini International), and in 1986 the Women's Universe was split into the 2 classes we know today - Women's Figure and Women's Physique.

2000 Masters' Olympia & An Important Historical Archive!!

We are now able to offer all fans that most prestigious of videos, The 2000 IFBB Masters' Olympia, won by the Invincible Vince Taylor.  What a wonderful guy he is!!  Check it out at A-1020.

Secondly Wayne has just finished editing a long awaited tape - 50 Years of the NABBA Universe, with reminiscences by Ivan Dunbar (GMV-306).  Get this - Ivan has attended every single NABBA Universe since it first started.  He's on first name terms with all the winners, including Arnold himself.  Fascinating to listen to, and Wayne has included routines from many of the winners past and present.  A wonderful 155 minutes worth for nostalgia buffs.

Gary Leonard, Pete Grymkowski & Danny Padilla

We've had V-113,  Gary Leonard, Pete Grymkowski, Keith Bogoff, Danny Padilla which features these three bodybuilders on the site for some time, BUT - I have just made a colour cover for the video, and I have posted some of Wayne's best photos in the Gallery. 

Controversial Muscle & Hard News

Wayne's Hard News has just been posted and he talks about a brilliant new video we've just released, called 2000 Mr. Olympia - Controversial Muscle (GMV-391).  It's a completely new slant on the event, and shows scenes never ever seen before.  It's quite an eye-opener.  There is also a new Short Shots tape, which give about 37 previews.  See Wayne's Hard News for details - it's not up on the site yet. 

Biceps!

Somebody was asking me about videos which feature great biceps, and of course I thought of V-133 Bob Saad and John Terilli.  And what a shock I got when I realised it wasn't on the site.  This has now been rectified, and you will also see pix of Bob Saad in the gallery.  He will be joined by the amazingly good looking John Terilli tomorrow.  The search engine on this site is very good indeed, so if you want to search by a name such as "biceps" just enter it in the search box and you will see a number of videos which feature great biceps.  Of course this only works when we've got the video on the site!!  It reminds me what a huge ongoing task we have to get everything published.  It will happen one day.  Trust me!

Women's WFF Videos Posted!

For the first time ever, we have had to put a Women's competition onto 2 videos!!  The WFF classes were so big, they wouldn't fit onto one tape.  Check them out at GMV-429 and GMV-430.  Because of the length of this competition we thought it only fair to make a special deal.  If you buy both women's tapes the cost is $85 - if you bought them separately they would be $49.00 each.  There is a link from each individual video to the Special deal price for the shopping cart - but if you want to go straight there simply click here!

Another WFF Universe Posted!

The third and last of the Men's videos of the WFF Universe has been posted.  As I said, they are all ready, it just takes a bit of time to get the covers and photos sorted out - especially when there is such a huge number of competitors.  Check out GMV-428 for tape # 3 - the Men's Athletic and Superbody Classes. By the way, don't be put off or confused by the names of these classes - each and every one of them is brilliant.

WFF Universe videos ready!

I think the editing of the WFF Universe was as big a marathon as the shoot!!  But oh boy it was worth it!!  The videos are outstanding.  I watched the 3 Men's tapes through the other day, and the standard of physique simply wiped me out.  From the very youngest 17 year old Junior to the oldest Over 40 competitor - the judges must have had a hell of a time, the standard was so high.  Check out Wayne's Hard News for all the details.  

I have two of the five videos up for today, and they are GMV-426 and GMV-427.  The others are all ready, but I am still working on the covers.  For your reference they are Men's Part # 3 GMV-428; Women's Tape # 1 GMV-429, and Women's Tape # 2 GMV-430.  And I think that's a first as well.  There were so many women, we couldn't fit them all onto one tape.  You will be amazed at the depth of talent in this event. 

I've had a couple of complaints about the length of time it takes to down load pages from the site.  So what we are going to do is load up the Gallery with the pix, and leave the video text more or less plain - with just the image of the cover (which can be enlarged of course).  That way if you want to check out the pix, you can always go to the gallery (there will be a link).

Happy Birthday to Us!  And the Women at FIBO

For the first time ever, we have produced a strictly women at FIBO video.  60 minutes of FIBO action featuring some wonderful women from our world of bodybuilding - V-174.  And for more pix of these great women, check out the Women's Gallery.

It's Happy Birthday to us today - exactly three years since we launched our first, very basic website.  We've come a long way since then, but I guess we owe a vote of thanks to Daniel in Perth who got us off the ground.

Pump Room at Last!

The NABBA Worlds Pump Room video (GMV-425) has been posted at last.  And I have to apologise.  We had to mix the men and women together although I know that some of you don't like that.  It's just that they were all mixed up in the same room, and simply impossible to separate - especially since they ran women's and men's classes alternately.  However, there are some very "intimate" scenes, with lots of pumping and oiling.  

What made me smile is they way bodybuilders prepare for competition.  None of the nonsense about getting tanned before you leave home.  Oh, no!  They all turn up into the pump room lily white, and proceed to paint on their tan minutes before they go on stage.  It's quite amazing watching the transformation.

For Wayne's latest edition of Hard News posted yesterday, he talks about a grand re-union he had in Los Angeles last year, to celebrate his 35 years of involvement in bodybuilding films and videos.

Finally, for people in Australia.  We have launched a brand new web site called www.gmvproductions.com, which talks specifically about video duplication, standards conversion and general production.  If you need a quote for any of these check out the website.  It will tell you all about the other side of our business.  Or indeed, if you have a company in USA who ships videos to Australia, get them here - ever so much cheaper, and we can drop-ship if necessary.

Women's Gallery

Check out the Women's Gallery - there are a couple of new ones, and also some pix of Ray Mentzer and Mike & Ray Mentzer together in the Men's Gallery.  We also heard that Mr. America Don Peters had died.  Wayne photographed him in 1978, and there are photos in the gallery as a memorial.

It's been links day today.  I have new ones for the NABBA Organisation in Austria, Greece and Italy, a great new site in Denmark and a link to the All Stars site in Germany.  Check out our links section - and a word of apology, if you have requested a link, and I haven't done it yet - please remind me.  My desk looks like a snowstorm has hit it, and things do get buried.  And if you represent an organisation (no matter what the politics) and you want a link from this site - tell me about it.  I also have a new links in the non-bodybuilding section for a cabinet maker that lives here in Adelaide.  He does simply wonderful work.

I'm getting there - but oh, so slowly!  I have posted pix of three bodybuilders in the Gallery section for you - Hamdullah Aykutlug, Paco Bautista, and Johannes Eleftheriadis. The others will be up tomorrow, all things being equal, and if I can get my act together.  We have chosen a selection of pix from FIBO 2001.  They really give the essence of FIBO, and are the next best thing to being there.  But don't forget, for every pic on this site we have literally thousands more in the archives.  Gives you something to look forward to!!

Wayne's Hard News & three new videos!

Wayne has written up his report for the 2001 NABBA World Championships.  See his Hard News for details.  He's been writing so much in the short time we have been live with his column, I've had to create an archive for him.  The archive button is at the top of the Hard News page - if you want to check on back issues just click the archive button and it will take you there in a flash. That's the theory anyway.

On this vexing issue of photographs and copyright and stuff, I'm going to take a bit of time and put up lots of photos in our gallery.  I'm aware that this facility has been neglected a bit but that's about to be put right.  The point is that you can see these photos for free on this site.  Why pay some exorbitant fee to see the same photos on another site, where the resolution won't be as good anyway.  Tell your friends.  Look here first.

It is more than likely that GMV Productions will have a pay site sometime in the future when our complete and vast archive of photos will be available together with an endless number of video clips.  In the meantime, the gallery should keep you enthused.  

Altogether there are 4 videos from the NABBA World Championships.  Three of them have just been published, and they are:  GMV-422 the Men's Prejudging; GMV-423 the Men - the Show; and GMV-424 The Women's Prejudging & Show.  GMV-425: The Pump Room will be posted Monday, although it's available now ($39.00).

Mentzer Photos & A New "Oldie"

As a lasting tribute to Mike Mentzer, we have posted 5 of Wayne's best photos in our Gallery Section.  Please, and I'm sorry to harp on this, be aware that the copyright of these photos belongs to Wayne R. Gallasch, and cannot be used either on the web or in print media without his permission.

I have also published another of our "Golden Oldies" - GMV-004, featuring Ernie Santiago, Steve Davis, and a very good looking young German called Torsten Petrowitz - Junior Mr. Germany in 1981.  The only part of this video that was originally shot on film was the Petrowitz segment.  It's a great video, and most definitely the star is Ernie Santiago.  The video was made just a day before he won the 1983 Mr. U.S.A. 

2001 NABBA Australian & WFF Championships

Four new videos are ready from the 2001 NABBA Australian & WFF Championships.  This was also the qualifier for the NABBA World Championships which were to be held in Austria. Check out the talent at GMV-418 The Men's Prejudging; GMV-419 the Men's Show; GMV-420 The Women Prejudging & Show; and finally GMV-421 The Women's Pump Room.  Regretfully there is no Men's Pump Room this year - they all hid from us!

There are also 3 new pix in the FIBO 2001 video - I somehow missed Jay Cutler, Johannes Eleftheriadis and Tommi Thorvildsen.  I have been punished!!

In response to customers feedback, we have put the "What's New" star right in the front centre where it was before.  It's much easier to see now.  and don't forget, that if there is something that you want to order that we don't describe in the on-line catalogue, you can always click the area at left.  It's also on the home page.

Mentzer Tragedy

A terrible loss has hit not only the body building community, but everyone who was touched by the wisdom and advice of Mike Mentzer and inspired by the achievements of his brother Ray Mentzer. For more information, read the article just posted in Hard News.

FIBO 2001: Monstrous Men

FIBO 2001: Monstrous Men is now ready - and if you check out the pic of Paco Bautista on the front cover you'll see why we gave it that title!!  It's a first class video with all the action. Look at V-173.

Another Powerlifter Video Magazine

For those of you who are just panting for the next Powerlifting Video Magazine release - here it is. A-4307 Powerlifter Video magazine # 32.  According to my mail, it's really hot stuff.

Now, just in case you think I've gone to sleep over the next couple of weeks - I'm off to Austria Thursday to give Wayne a hand with shooting the NABBA World Champions.  Geez, it's a hard life for some.  I'm really excited about this trip, partly because I've never been to Austria before, and partly because it sounds as though this is going to be one helluva show.  All the best bodybuilders from all over the world - can't wait.  

According to the edit room, FIBO 2001 is just about ready.  I shall do the cover for it tomorrow - so you can get your orders in now if you want.  V-173 - and I'll try and get some pix up for you as well.

New Search Function!

We've just added an extra search function to the site.  Let's say for example that you used to follow the career of Esmat Sadek in the 80's.  All you have to do is type in the word Sadek in the "search our products field" at the left hand side of the screen, and the site tells you the names of the videos he appears in.  This is a huge job for us to complete - in fact to be honest it's one of those things that's never ending.  And if you have a bodybuilder you like - or indeed competed yourself - and the video doesn't come up on the search please still ask us.  It may well be that we haven't competed all the details for your particular video.  (By the way, Esmat Sadek appeared in V-127 the 1980 IFBB Mr. Universe held in Manila).  There are some new older contest videos up today, including the aforementioned 1980 IFBB Mr. Universe/1979 Mr. Olympia, the 1977 Mr. Olympia, and the 1977 WABBA Worlds.

So, just to recap - enter the last name of your favourite bodybuilder in the search function at left, hit enter, and see what videos he or she is in.

Wayne's Hard News!

Wayne's been working hard again - a report on the NABBA Australia held last weekend, and all sorts of other bits and pieces.  And there's now a link to Dennis James as well.

Two new reviews!

One new reviews in the Reviews Section - Male for you.  One was written by Wayne himself, and talks about Dave Draper's appearance at the 1970 NABBA Universe (V-108); and the other is in the Reviews - Female by Brett DeHaan of the 2001 Ms. International - Prejudging video, GMV-415.

What's New?  A Marvelous Old Classic

We have found the most wonderful classic contest in our archives.  Check out V-157, a 109-minute tape of the 1977 AAU Mr. America and the 1977 IFBB Mr. America.  We discovered a very rare piece of footage in the Mr. America of Mike Mentzer posing, plus heaps of other stars, and a very young Arnold S. presenting the trophies.  A great find.  It just goes to show that there are still treasures to be found by mining the archives!

What's New?  Classic Teens # 1, that's what!!

Archival footage of America's teens from the early to mid 80's pumping, posing, oiling, all outdoors on a glorious day in brilliant sunshine.  These are all competitive bodybuilders, including Joe Sangiacomo, a 2nd place Teen America Tall Class competitor in 1986.  Look at V-172 - the photos are stills taken from the video. The original was on film, and has been transferred to video, with music added.

The Pump Room for the IFBB Australian Grand Prix is now Ready!

This is a terrific video - 74 minutes of really intimate footage - guys being oiled and tanned, pumping up, and as a special bonus, the solo compulsory poses for the top ten competitors - an art form in itself.  If you want to learn how to do it this is the tape to watch.  Check out GMV-409 - particularly the photos of Jaroslav Horvath.  Don't forget these pix are all copyrighted to GMV - I don't want to see them gracing the pages of all the chat groups around the world!!

The IFBB Australian Grand Prix is now Ready!

And what a wonderful video it is.  All the guys were having a fantastic time, were really laid back, and really put on a show.  I think they like it here in Australia!!  Check out the pix and the write up for GMV-410.  We have also posted a list of IFBB Pro Contest dates (in response to requests) as well as Contest Results.  Wayne has a new issue of HARD NEWS for you to read, where he addresses the vexing problem of piracy amongst other interesting things.

Arnold Classic: The Show, plus Pump Room - 2 new videos now out!!

Released for the very first time since the inception of the Arnold Classic - see all the top guys as they pump up ready for the battle, the posing routines, the awards, plus all the back stage action.   These two videos comprise the Show plus Pump Room.  For various reasons we can't release a single Arnold Classic Show video. Check out GMV-411 (Part 1) and GMV-412 (Part 2).  The top bodybuilders of today as never seen before - also includes shots of Arnold on stage in Tape # 2.  In total, 150 minutes of video for only $69.00 the pair.

Hard News!!

Wayne has written up a report on his visit to the Arnold Weekend in Columbus Ohio.  He's come back with some totally mind-blowing footage, the first of which has been released at the Ms. International Prejudging (GMV-415).  See the report at Wayne's Hard News.

Ms International, plus English Grand Prix Pump Room!!

So many goodies, it's hard to know where to start.  First I guess we should talk about the Ms. International Prejudging video.  Wayne was present at the  Arnold Weekend, and this is the first of quite a few videos that we will be releasing.  It's never been offered before (to our knowledge), and we only have the Prejudging, but it's a fantastic video.  Look at GMV-415.

Also, we have released the 2000 English Grand Prix Pump Room.  Even Ronnie Coleman was there!  Plus Günter, Markus, Jay and heaps of others.  GMV-402.

And also take a look at GMV-401 for the  best of EFBB British talent.  This contest was the EFBB Amateur Grand Prix held immediately prior to the IFBB Pro Grand Prix, with the winner DENNIS FRANCIS getting his pro card.

We know there have been terrible problems in trying to log on as a new user.  There were  problems with the back end database programming, which has now been rectified, but has been horribly embarrassing for all concerned.

The Ironmen Come to Town!!

Two of the very best videos have been released this week.  The 2001 IFBB Ironman Pro Invitational and the 2001 IFBB Ironman Pro Invitational Pump Room.  Chris Cormier is, like, massive - and the new kid on the block King Kamali absolutely stuns the senses.  Marvelous Melvin wows the crowd with his awesome posing - and as for the rest you'll have to buy the video to see!!  Wayne went over and did the video himself, and the touch of the master is very evident in the resulting quality of these two videos.  Check out the pix at V-170 and V-171.

A couple more links to have a look at - the first being of great interest to the Aussies  - we have a link to M-Plex, and the second isn't a new one, but is definitely one of the best and that's Ray Cassar's Muscletime site.  Simply brilliant photography.

A few teething problems! & GMV archive videos now available

As expected there have been a few teething problems with the new site, and these have now been fixed.  But please, please, please, if you have any problems at all, let me know and I'll sort it out.

New Website!!

Well, here it is at last - our brand new website and a brand new look.  A great big thank-you to our friends at M-Plex for all their hard work.  It's not been easy for me either, so please do tell me if you find errors.  We all had to do a great deal of work in a very short time - so if I've missed something please accept my apologies in advance!!  

New link & new website!!

BIG BIG NEWS!  We are updating the website to include a shopping cart and all sorts of other goodies, including a gallery, forum, and reviews.  The site will be launched next week, so  if there are a few teething problems, with pages refusing to load down and that sort of thing, please be patient.  It will all be worth it in the end.

Steve Reeves Biography!!

Finally, finally - we have copies of the authorized biography of Steve Reeves by Chris LeClaire.   It's a fascinating book, and was totally responsible for a sleepless night last week.  I just couldn't put it down!  A wonderful tribute to Reeves the bodybuilder and Reeves the man.

A TV program to watch out for!

On March 9th in USA, Discovery Channel (Channel # 278) will be showing a fascinating look at bodybuilders, called ON THE INSIDE: BODYBUILDERS.  The main bodybuilders interviewed are: Frank Zane, Kim Chizevsky, Lesa Lewis, Craig Titus, Tom Prince, Lou Ferrigno; and two up and coming bodybuilders, Stan McQuay and Travis Wojcik.

Members of the BB community are also interviewed, and the main people in this category are: Joe Weider, Ben Weider, Wayne DeMilia, Joe Wells and Chad Nicholls.

GMV Productions was very happy to provide the producers with some of the footage to be shown in this doco, and we do of course have videos on many of the individuals mentioned (ask for details).  There is a strong chance it will be shown on the BBC in the UK as well, but I don't have dates for that.

See Wayne's report on the 2001 San Francisco contest.  It's hard to believe, but I actually missed putting up the 1999 IFBB English Grand Prix (GMV-347) and the 1999 IFBB English Grand Prix Pump Room (GMV-348).  Better late than never I suppose, but my apologies.

We recently received the complete inventory of the justly famous Repetrope video productions of the 1999 NPC Nationals.  I've only had time to put up the 3 Pump Room videos, A-1012, A-1013, A-1014) and The Men's Evening Show (A-1007) today.  Just watch this space, I should be able to finish the job by the weekend.  These particular videos are great because they showcase the latest sensation KING KAMALI, who gets his pro card at this particular competition.

Ironman Invitational Report

Wayne is in the USA at the moment, and just attended the Ironman Invitational, where he videotaped the event.  Read his Special Report in Hard News.  Now he is waiting for the Arnold Weekend where he'll be doing a couple of  Pump Room videos (Men and Women), and also men's and women's videos at the Expo.  Exciting times!!

2000 IFBB English Grand Prix is now Ready!

Boy, do we have a gem here!!  Held just one week after the 2000 Olympia - 16 magnificent athletes.  Key comparisons from the Prejudging, and all the routines, posedowns and awards from the Evening Show.  All of 'em are in the best condition - especially Jay Cutler.  He kinda missed his peak at the Olympia, but he certainly got it all together for this competition.  Look at GMV-400.  It's one of the best.  The video of the Amateur Event and the Pump Room are already in the pipeline - but I don't yet have a date for release.

Hard News from Wayne R. Gallasch

The first edition of Hard News has been posted.  Actually Wayne has already left for a quick tour of duty in USA to tape the Ironman Invitational and the Expo and Pump Rooms at the Arnold Weekend.  

Also check out V-147: Mike Mentzer and Friends.  This is an undiscovered gem for collectors.  I've put up some extra pix, and Mike Emery's review is in our Reviews Section.

Casey on the Beach!

Casey Viator starred in a Beach Romp video in 1978, with Lynde Johnson and Skip Robinson.  It's a Casey few will have seen before - see GMV-37.  Lynde strips her top off to reveal the biggest pair of natural boobs - no silicon in those days.  It's worth buying the video just to see Casey's face!!  Skip Robinson, the third bodybuilder in the video was a Junior Mr. U.S.A.  I don't think he'd ever come across anything like Lynde before either.

The new Günter Schlierkamp video has now been released.  GMV-392 - and it's abso-bloody-lutely fantastic.   Günter has been videotaped from Germany to California - in contests, at FIBO, the Olympia weekend, and in the hardest, heaviest duty workout you've seen.  The result is one of the very best videos we have ever made.

And the other new release is from FTV Videos on Valentina Chepiga.  A-3245, and it's great.

No new videos today, but I've updated the links section.  Lots of new links particularly in the Male and Miscellaneous sections.  Have fun!!

Also keep an eye out for the new Günter Schlierkamp video - I should be posting it tomorrow.  It's hot, hot, hot.  But I mustn't give too much away - except to say you ain't seen muscles (or a workout) like this before.  One hell of a nice guy.

A-4297 Powerlifter Video Magazine # 31 has hit the streets - plenty of action as always.

OK - here we go!  Remember how we made a super tape of Casey Viator?  Well, we have now made a super tape of the guys he shared his original videos with (from V-119 and V-137). It is GMV-393 and features CHRIS DICKERSON, TOM PLATZ, RICHARD BALDWIN and CLINT BEYERLE.  No new footage, but an excellent video, showing stars as you will have never seen them before.  Some great pix as well - thumbnails and enlargements, as we did with Casey (see below).  I tell you what - there's no sign of steroid bloat on these guys.  They are in superb condition!!  Digitally transferred from film to video, and music added.

Also - and a very big also!  The Battle for the Olympia has been released - see A-4296.  As usual a fantastic video from Mitsuru Okabe.  He follows all the stars around their home gyms, and each is taped doing a workout for a specific body part.

We've just spent the best part of the day entering and publishing all our bodybuilding & sports books. There are pretty keen prices to, so be sure to check them out.

Here's a real treat for Casey Viator fans.  In response to demand, Wayne has taken the footage from 3 videos in which we have Casey solo posing, and put it into a very special Casey Viator Tape.  See GMV-394.  The footage is exactly the same as in V-119, V-136 and V-137.  It's a great classic tape featuring a great classic physique.  As a trial, I have published thumbnails of Casey - just click on them to see the enlargement.  I think you will agree that the resolution is much better doing it this way, and the page is quicker to load down.
