The 2001 Ms Olympia - The Pump Room starts off at the weigh-in where the girls line up and strip off to determine their weight category. Then we move to the pump room with the Ms. Olympia contestants, pumping, oiling and preparing themselves for the competition, concluding with Juliette Bergmann in the photo booth festooned with medals.

We also talk with Juliette before the contest. The Ms. O segment of the video is the major part (about 60 minutes), but we follow up with a lingering look at the Fitness Olympia competitors pumping, stretching and practising their moves, ending up with photo booth sessions. February 16, 2008. The 19th edition of the IRON MAN Pro saw one of the deepest lineups ever with a huge 32 competitors. By the end of the Prejudging two men stood head shoulder above the rest, Phil Heath and Gustavo Badell. Heath answered his critics with an impressive much improved from 2007 physique, and rolled on to crush his opposition and take Iron Man Pro glory. Clearly, he was hard at work in the gym the last 12 months, adding key front-to-back thickness in his upper body, along with more width in his shoulders, and size and detail all around. We don't know how they do it, but the NABBA Universe simply gets better year by year. In the Women's Physique New Zealand scooped the pool winning both classes. Billie Kaine got straight firsts from all the judges for her perfect score, and she also beat her countrywoman Siobahn O'Neill for the overall title. The Women's Figure was a battle and a half. Pina Theodoridis of Australia (the Southern Hemisphere breeds fabulous women!!) easily won the Short Class from Brigitte Crepieux of France and she also won the Overall from Susana Palma, the Class One winner from Spain. Mr. Universe OLIVER REINHARDT is the major amateur physique star in Germany .  He has been competing successfully since 1991 and in 2007 had a stellar year winning 3 major titles. Oliver has also previously won his class in the NABBA World Championships, plus many other titles in various organisations.

Held in Stuttgart, Germany the women competed in five different classes including couples. This is a 109 minutes extravaganza of 49 incredible women, battling for the titles of best in the world! The women's DVD presents Figure, Physique and Couples and you will see all the line-ups, compulsories then the posing routines of every competitor, including the couples, through to the final awards. This was the best women's line-up ever seen at the Worlds. New Zealand won their first ever World Bodybuilding title with Billie Kaine victorious in her class. 

The Overall winner for the Women's Physique title was a sensational Cinzia Campeis of Italy. Beautiful blonde Isabelle Streit of France just edged out Australia's Pina Theodoridis for the overall Women's Figure title in the posedown. Held in Birmingham we had two camera crews covering the 150 competitors and the day's proceedings. You will see pump room action (men and women), interviews with the top competitors and a 2 camera production at the Evening Show. MURAT DEMIR is one of the most exciting young physique star in recent years to grace the bodybuilding stage in Germany. GMV filmed this talented young German star in his peak condition in the former Wilfried Dubbels Gym in Heeslingen. Murat took the European bodybuilding world by storm by winning his class 5 times in Mr Germany and twice in Germany’s Mr Universe. Murat Demir has great charisma along with aesthetic class in a Zane like style, shredded and awesomely symmetrical.

During the intense workout he shows us his physique from every conceivable angle both during his training and also in his close-up posing display for our camera after most sets are completed. J.J Marsh outmuscled his opposition to win the title on the big day in this the second ever Iron Man Pro contest. There was a strong presence from Europe with Andreas Munzer of Austria in 3rd place and Thierry Pastel from France in 4th. Such was the amazing standard that Vince Taylor came in 5th. Other legends of the sport included Francis Benfatto, Mohammed Benaziza, Bob Paris and John Brown.

He is a modern day muscle monster!  Dennis talks about his life in bodybuilding and how he got started. Then he takes you through his full hardcore workout in his gym in Thailand. The 1994 Iron Man Pro was the fifth staging of the sensational Iron Man Pro Invitational. It was another spectacular lineup of magnificent muscle which is the norm with this first pro show of the season. It includes some prejudging highlights as well as all the action from the Final. It turned out to be another magnificent pro victory for VINCE "THE PRINCE" TAYLOR. This year also saw a rare appearance of Bertil Fox in the Iron Man event. Other top men included Chris Cormier and Lee Priest who both went on to become future winners of the Iron Man Pro.

The top competitors included VINCE TAYLOR, CHRIS CORMIER, AARON BAKER, LEE PRIEST, DAVID DEARTH, SONNY SCHMIDT, JIM QUINN,  BERTIL FOX and TONY PEARSON. Some of these guys were the super stars of the 80s and early 90s and are not seen very often on DVD, making this release a rare treat. Four-time World's Strongest Man winner Jon Pall Sigmarsson was the larger-than-life Icelandic strongman whose story was captured in this powerful documentary. "The Real Deal" CHRIS CORMIER makes it back to back victories at the first Iron Man Pro Invitational of the new millennium. Close behind was multi-title winner Flex Wheeler, and new guys Dexter Jackson 3rd and Gunter Schlierkamp 4th. This gave Gunter qualification for his first ever Olympia.

Seeing that we are now nicely into 2008, Sean and I felt it time to jointly update our Coming Events section. It is somewhat selective and revolves mostly around events that relate to us and to our DVDs we offer. I know there are many other pro events which traditionally do not have DVDs. This is a pity. Hoever we are presently stretched to our limits covering international event, as much as we would love to do more.

FLEX WHEELER blitzed the opposition to walk away with his 2nd Iron Man Pro Invitational Trophy making it 2 out of 2. There was a terrific battle between AARON BAKER and LEE PRIEST for 2nd place. Also includes introduction of competitors, some prejudging footage and guest performer Groovin' Reuben of FIBO fame.

Chris Cormier made it four after winning the 2002 Iron Man Pro Invitational - with a hungry LEE PRIEST snapping at his heels in second place.  In this DVD see the PREJUDGING & FINALS footage with  EVERY ROUTINE SHOWN!!  Also includes great interviews with Chris Cormier and Lee Priest. Lee is never known to be short of words! A highlight of the evening was when Fitness Guru Jack LaLanne was awarded the Peary Rader Award with the Art Zeller Award for photographic excellence going to Jimmy Caruso. This was a sensational Men's World Championships, held outdoors in a huge amphitheatre in central Singapore. In the heavyweight class it was a battle of the giants between a young, ripped and superb Berry DeMey, a mature and sensational Bob Paris and a huge Ralf Moeller of Germany. Ralf literally dwarfed the others during the posedown. It was a toss up and could have gone either way between the top two with BOB PARIS emerging victorious over DeMEY. A real treat for all Paris and DeMey fans.



 
Chuck Williams and Charles Glass from USA proved to be very strong and convincing winners of their respective classes as was Appie Steenbeek from Holland and Herman Hoffend from West Germany. In keeping with our plan to have all past Iron Man Pro videos on DVD before the 2008 Iron Man event, here is our latest release. It was an  “Oh my God - what a lineup!” type of event in 1997. Lee Priest managed to place ahead of Ronnie Coleman and almost broke through for his first pro victory but was beaten by the incredible, ripped FLEX WHEELER. This was a sensational year with over 20 top athletes competing in the biggest show of muscle in this history of the IM Pro!

Here is a classic women’s contest featuring the ever popular and famous CHRISTINE ENVALL that had slipped through the cracks!  The NABBA Australian Championships is in effect our Nationals and  featured a field of fantastic women who fought it out in 5 different classes. The  major winners went on to compete in the NABBA World Championships in Spain.

We show all round 3 comparisons and the posing routines of all competitors from prejudging through to the final awards. Major winners included CHRISTINE ENVALL, LORRAINE MARCH  and KIM KNOTT. Held in Essen Germany each year, a heaven for bodybuilders and gym junkies. A highlight of the show was the posedown of the Weider champions, as well as the posing of Mr. 26" Arms - MANFRED HÖBERL. It was the first time that the FIBO video was 100% shot by the GMV Productions team. It was a rare occasion when the current Mr. Olympia Dorian Yates has been presented at FIBO as the major guest star. This is 90 minutes of muscle magic.
