2001 NABBA Australia & World / WFF Qualifier
This prestigious event was held in Melbourne on Sunday May 27th, and promoted by Graeme Lancefield and Pina Theodoridis. The quality of the contestants was the highest of recent years, and long time legend Don Mahoney was admitted into the Australian NABBA Hall of Fame. |

The 2001 Night of Champions - 23rd Edition
This is the longest running pro show after the Mr. Olympia. It is the largest Pro show with typically 40 competitors and as such is said to be the most important event after the Mr. Olympia. It is also usually a controversial event in its results. |

2001 FIBO Expo Report
Held in the famous Messe Expo complex in Essen, Germany, this fantastic FITNESS & BODYBUILDING event took place from April 26th to 29th this year. It filled 9 massive halls spread over an area of 76,000 square metres. It is a success story stretching back over 16 years and we have the complete archive of footage from all of these years of FIBO. The list of physique stars who have appeared reads like a who's who of bodybuilding. |

News Reviews and Commentary
It was good to see a Hercules film, GLADIATOR, win the Academy Award for best movie. Even better for Aussie "macho man" Russell Crowe to win best male actor as well. We don't sell videos such as Gladiator, but we do have available old Hercules movies from 30 or more years ago featuring the muscle men actors of the past. If you are interested in the old Hercules movies please let us know. |

2001 IFBB Australian Grand Prix
The John Batman Theatre was the magnificent venue for this ground breaking event presented by Tony DOHERTY. It was the first pro show in Australia for about 14 years and it was with out doubt the most enjoyable pro show we have attended in years. Tony set a standard against which all other shows in Australia will be judged. I look forward to this becoming an annual event. |

2001 Arnold Fitness Weekend Report
Held in Columbus, Ohio March 2-4, this was the only major event in World bodybuilding which I had never attended, apart from the NOC. Now I know what I have missed in the previous 12 years! It was a sensational experience, cram packed with various events, which revolve around fitness, strength, the gym and of course bodybuilding contests. |

2001 Arnold Classic
Ronnie Coleman was the comfortable winner being in even better condition than he was 4 months ago when he won the Olympia. Now that he has quit the Police Force he can give 100% attention to his contest preparation. He received a cheque for $100,000, a superb trophy and a $70,000 Hummer presented by Arnold Schwarzenegger. The prize money was donated by Weider Nutrition. Ronnie has the big double of the Olympia and the Arnold Classic within a 4 month period. |
