2001 SABBA South Australian Bodybuilding Championships: The Show

Held at the long time home of South Australian bodybuilding - The Dom Polski Centre in Adelaide, on the 8th September, 2001 this NABBA event showcases the best bodybuilding talent in South Australia. The sellout crowd packed the hall to view their favourites, to see them compete for the State's most prestigious titles - Mr. South Australia, Ms. South Australia - physique and Ms. South Australia – figure and win the trips to the NABBA Australasian Nationals.

Life Membership Award
GMV's own Wayne Gallasch was presented with his South Australian SABBA Life Membership. Here is what the official programme said:
"Wayne has had a long association with SABBA, starting back in 1964 when he first competed in front of SABBA judges, to 1967 where he placed second in the South Australian Championships of that year. He came back in 1968 to win the title of Mr. South Australia.
Not only a competitor, Wayne has also given his time on the SABBA committee for many years, and even serving as President in the 80s.
Wayne is still  very much involved with the sport, especially as he is the official videographer of SABBA and NABBA, on the Australian scene and also the International scene." (See photo below.)

This DVD brings you the COMPLETE EVENING SHOW with all of the posing routines, men and women, class awards and Men's Overall Posedown and award to JASON BEDNARZ.
The Show's Opening Display was a Classical Japanese Swordsmen's Performance by NIHON KOBUDIO IAIJUTSU.
