CALLING ON ALL BODYBUILDING VIDEO CAMERAMEN!!

We are looking for talented and experienced camera people in both USA and UK. 

UK & Europe

The UK cameraperson would be required to assist with taping at the NABBA Universe, usually held in Southport in early October of each year.   An interest in or experience of bodybuilding camerawork would be a great advantage.  Applicants would be required to present a show reel of their work, bearing in mind that taping live events is very different to taping news or advertising content.

Applicants need to be hard working, self-motivated and capable of self-direction.  They must also be prepared to tape the whole contest or pump room from start to finish including the prejudging.  The day is likely to go from 9am to midnight, with a 2-hour break after prejudging.  It is essential that applicants realise that all the event must be taped, not just bits of it. This is not easy work – the camera never stops running.

You may also be required to travel to the NABBA Worlds competition which is held in a different country each year.
I will provide sample DVDs of past years of each event to the successful applicants so that they can get an idea of what is expected of them. You will need to have your own quality equipment (digital camera – preferably DVCAM, relevant quality long zoom lens, tripod, lights). Blank tape will be provided by me or reimbursed.  All travel expenses will be reimbursed, and accommodation provided if necessary. Benefits will include great travel and a front centre seat and press pass at the best bodybuilding shows in UK/Europe. Plus full credit in the DVDs.

USA

The USA camera person would be required from time to time to shoot first or second camera at some events, Expos, pump rooms etc. The USA person to be part of our GMV team in USA.  Other duties may include shooting gym workouts with top athletes and pumping and posing segments taped outdoors. Same benefits as above.
