SHREDDED.TV – Bodybuilding movies on demand!  Now available from GMV!!

SHREDDED.TV is a new joint venture between GMV and Globalfibre.tv presenting the world’s first internet TV station devoted exclusively to bodybuilding and fitness. This website is like a TV station on the internet and features both professional and amateur athletes. It will also include contests from around the world. Shredded.tv is not a video download site, it is a streaming media internet TV station.

Browse the latest free and pay per view video categories, or search for a particular contest or athlete, then watch the complete video online as many times as you like for 24 hours. Video is streamed directly to your computer at the highest quality in windows media format, which means instant play-back and no waiting for the file to download.

The movies-on-demand service will soon offer some selected movies from other producers. It is planned for the library to build to over 150 titles by the end of the first year with 500 titles planned by the end of the 3rd year. We will be regularly adding new titles in batches of 20 at a time.

For DVD collectors, all movies are available for purchase on DVD from GMV within the sell-through window. Most DVDs will be available in NTSC or PAL. Those using the download service will need to have the Windows Media player installed. Please note the downloads will be incompatible with Apple’s iPod due to the different proprietary technologies involved.

Users will be able to stream bodybuilding movies via broadband connection using the MPEG-4 format. Sit back and browse our library from the comfort of your home. This is high quality web-based media streaming, set up as a dedicated prioritised connection over broadband for best–quality viewing.

Remember there are no late fees and no returns! Once you have paid for a movie, you can watch it online as many times as you like in 24 hours. You can even fast-forward, pause and do almost all you can do with a DVD, apart from seeing extra scenes. There is a single fixed price regardless as to the running time of the movie.
