GMV-215 LENDA MURRAY SEMINAR & POSING

Lenda Murray burst back onto the bodybuilding scene in 2002 by winning the heavyweight and overall women's bodybuilding title at the Olympia Weekend in Las Vegas last October. With untouchable symmetry in her upper-body and back, no one could come close to her physique. If you compare Lenda's 2002 physique in Las Vegas, it closely resembles her 1995 stature and maturity after her 6th consecutive Ms. Olympia title. There is no question that Lenda has dominated the ranks of women's bodybuilding over the years. In this video, fans new and old will be able to learn more about Lenda's athletic achievements, but also her willingness to spearhead the greater acceptance of women's bodybuilding around the world. 

Only one week after Lenda won her 6th consecutive, she sits down with an open audience to discuss bodybuilding at the IFBB English Grand Prix. Lenda is absolutely superb fielding a wide variety of questions from the audience during her interview. Lenda is simply an outstanding spokesperson and comes across as honest, enthusiastic and sincere to the fans. With her Ms. Olympia Baseball cap and Stars & Stripes sports attire in tow, people should seriously consider and ponder the image Lenda is portraying to potential fans. To fully analyze the image Lenda and the IFBB were pushing back in 1995 is a story unto itself. So I'm not going to digress into some other tangent. My only point is to indicate that Lenda was, and perhaps is still, trying to pursue a balanced, accepting image for women's bodybuilding. Perhaps an image that the general public would eventually find accepting. 

With a myriad of tantalizing questions from the audience, one must really understand the culture of bodybuilding. Questions like diuretic usage to anabolic steroids are all questions Lenda must convincingly answer and spin appropriately in front of fans and IFBB officials. Lenda does an excellent job answering all of the difficult questions, while keeping her enthusiasm and sincerity in check. 

Intermittently between questions, we find ourselves at FIBO from 1990 until 1995 seeing Lenda perform on stage. According to GMV Productions, they consider the included FIBO footage to be "raunchy posing routines" by Lenda and friends. Perhaps a more accurate characterization would be fun, energetic pumping and flexing for FIBO fans.

Final Thoughts 
The Lenda Murray Seminar and Posing video is a little different video that others I've seen from GMV Productions. Her comeback in 2002 was absolutely superb, and greatly reflects her dominance in the 1990's with her awesome symmetry, and definition. I'm almost certain the true fans of Lenda will enjoy watching this video. A great perspective, of a continuing Olympia champion. Will we ever see Kim Chizevsky's comeback?
