Held in the wonderful city of Stuttgart, Germany the men competed in six different classes including Juniors, Masters and 4 open height classes. This DVD presents the top six men as they pose in all six classes, plus posedowns, presentations and the exciting overall judging and posedown for the title of Overall 1996 Mr. World. Highlights include: A fantastic lineup of Juniors - winner Dimitris Anastasakis from Greece; Serge Dessel of France taking the overall title from the handsome and symmetrical Carlo Sic of Germany. As each segment seemed too short to release at the time, nothing happened till we obtained the wonderful and fantastic quality 20 minute film from the 1979 Mr. Olympia. This shows Frank Zane in his all time best condition defeating Mike Mentzer to win the Overall 1979 Mr. Olympia crown in Columbus Ohio. These are not complete Olympias but consists of the only known footage shot on film at these famous contests. All of the 3 1979 contests are exceptional quality. Wayne’s 1971 Olympia footage is short but extremely rare and has been long awaited. This DVD is destined to be one of our all time classic contest releases. Iron Man Pro Update, and New PowerLifter Video Magazine on DVD!! IRON MAN PRO 2009 -- UPDATED INFO, MORE COMPETITORS!! One of the most exciting new line-ups in the recent history of the event will file onto the Los Angeles Convention Center stage on Saturday, January 24 as the IRON MAN PRO, celebrating its 20-year anniversary, opens up the 2009 season. It is the longest running professional contest on the West Coast, and the third longest in the history of the IFBB, behind only the Mr. Olympia and the Arnold Classic. For starters, Moe Elmoussawi, Silvio Samuel and Johnnie Jackson, who finished 3rd, 4th and 5th, respectively, last year, all return in an attempt to walk off with the $15,000 first place award. Other standouts among the 28-man field who will be battling for a top five finish (and an Olympia qualifying berth) include Mark Dugdale (2nd in 07), Troy Alves (3rd on two occasions), Eddie Abbew (3rd in 07), Hidetada Yamagishi, Marcus Haley (5th in 07), Ahmad Haidar, Ronny Rockel and Omar Deckard. Judging begins at 10:30 a.m. with the Finals set for 8 p.m. Wayne will be there with his team shooting all the action.
